Overview

In October 2026 I offered to make a launch film for Decision Models, a platform for open decision models. The founder used it for the launch and then commissioned three follow-up films for REAX, the company’s decentralised inference network.

The problem

The product is technical and the feed is crowded. The film had about a minute to explain it while keeping the numbers and their conditions clear.

What I did

I directed, animated, designed the sound and cut the films. They are built in code, with music and sound from AI tools, and cut to the beat. Teams of AI agents did much of the frame-by-frame work; I directed every version and decided every cut. I used AI reviewers to check versions from different perspectives and checked the launch film’s key figures against a source ledger.

The launch film was rendered at 120 frames a second with every second frame kept unblended, so fast motion never smears. Its final revisions were compared with the previous cut frame by frame, so a change could not reach past the scenes it meant to touch, and before delivery an independent model checked the on-screen claims against their sources.

A frame from the REAX film: Served by the people. A decision-model request reaches a GPU run by an independent miner. The frame describes opt-in network processing, company GPUs as fallback and sampled answer checks.

The result

The launch film went out with the founder’s launch, and the follow-up films became paid work.
